Conor is a young bronze-smith living in the Iceni tribe with Queen Boudicca and King Prasutagus in charge. Then the Roman Invasion of Britain begins and a centurion called Marcus enters the tribe along with the 2nd Augusta Legion.  Their lives become entwined but life will never be the same again.
